Dylan's House

Dylan’s House was founded by my husband Kevin and me in honor of our son, Dylan, who is on the autism spectrum. Our journey as parents inspired us to create a place where individuals with autism can thrive as they move into adulthood. We wanted to provide more than just a house—we wanted to build homes that are safe, welcoming, and promote independence and dignity.

We also understand how vital caregivers are in this journey. That’s why we created our Caregiver Grants program—to recognize and support those who dedicate their careers to caring for individuals with autism in supported living environments. It’s our way of saying thank you for the compassion and resilience they bring to such meaningful work.

Through Dylan’s House, we continue to advocate, educate, and connect with our community to raise awareness and foster understanding. Everything we do is driven by love and a deep commitment to helping individuals with autism—and the people who care for them—feel seen, valued, and supported.

HerHub

HerHub

I first joined HerHub because I wanted to connect with other women who were building businesses and making an impact in the community. What I found was a genuinely supportive network of women who are passionate about lifting each other up and increasing the visibility of local female entrepreneurs. HerHub has become an incredible resource—not just for business growth, but for personal growth, too. One of the most meaningful ways I’ve been involved is through mentoring. I’ve had the privilege of helping women launch their businesses, navigate challenges, and find the confidence to keep going. Watching them grow—not just professionally, but personally—has been inspiring. I truly believe that when women in a community thrive, the whole community benefits. Their success ripples out to their families and strengthens the foundation of the entire community.

Loose Ends

Loose Ends

I recently began to volunteer as a finisher for the Loose Ends Project, a global effort that connects skilled crafters with families left with unfinished crochet, needlework, or fiber arts projects after the loss of a loved one. As a finisher, I complete these pieces with care so they can be returned to the family as a cherished keepsake.

My journey with fiber arts began at a young age, sitting beside my grandma as she patiently taught me. What started as a special bond between us grew into a lifelong love of crochet and other needlework. Volunteering with Loose Ends allows me to honor that legacy while using my skills to bring a sense of comfort and closure to others.

Each project carries a story, and it’s deeply meaningful to help finish what someone else lovingly began. It’s my way of giving back—with yarn, heart, and the quiet understanding that handmade things hold powerful memories.
