Life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths, and my journey into finance is a great example. Years ago, I found myself at a crossroads when funding cuts ended my role at a nonprofit. Around that time, Brian had an opening and, although I had no prior financial experience, my background in technology and customer service made it a natural fit. He offered me the role—willing to accommodate my schedule as a single mom—and I took a leap into something completely new. Nine years later, I’ve had the privilege of growing with the firm as we’ve welcomed new partners, expanded to additional locations, and built lasting client relationships. It’s been a journey I never expected, but now can’t imagine any other way.

Growing up in a small town just south of New Orleans, right on the bayou, I learned early on the value of planning and resourcefulness. Watching my parents work hard to make ends meet instilled in me a deep respect for structure, responsibility, and problem-solving—qualities that continue to guide me today.

In my current role, I manage all aspects of office operations, from paperwork and compliance to event planning and client service. I take pride in creating a smooth experience for both clients and advisors, and I thrive on being the dependable, behind-the-scenes support that keeps everything running. I strive to be efficient, friendly, and detail-oriented—traits I bring to every interaction.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two sons, each finding their way—one building a career in banking and the other currently exploring his next steps in life. In my downtime, I enjoy trying new foods, crocheting, and getting lost in a good book. I previously volunteered with JDRF and Diabetes Youth Services, causes close to my heart since my oldest was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just four years old. I also volunteer with the Loose Ends Project, a nonprofit that helps complete unfinished fiber art projects left behind by loved ones who’ve passed away. It’s a meaningful way to combine a craft I love with bringing comfort to others.
